Part 2 of Car Snatch Theft.

First of all, thanks for reaching out and sharing your stories and experiences with regards to the rising issue of the car snatch theft. These MoFoS (Motorcyclists For Surveillance) should be rammed down 1 by 1 if it were possible. But seriously, what can be done?

There were many suggestions about the security tinting which i'm about to install. I think it is a good precautionary method but not a deterrent unfortunately as these tints will merely make it a little harder for the thieves to smash your windows but it can be done. Though i think that added few seconds before they successfully smash your window might help!

After my incident yesterday at Bandar Utama, there were a few eye witnesses that claimed the motorcyclists proceeded to smash another car at the tunnel in Tropicana just minutes after my case. This lady had her bag under the car seat but 1 of the motorcyclists stretched his whole body into the car and reached for the bag on the floor. Good thing the lady grabbed her bag when she realised what was happening but it's sickening to know that these uneducated drugged up pricks would pull off a stunt like that. She managed to escape with a few cuts and a broken window.

And yet another lady had a similar experience 2mths ago in Tropicana. Her car had the safety tints but they managed to smash her windows using a weapon that looked like a metal hook that is tied on the waist. Bag gone.. but thankfully she and her lil baby seated at the back seat was unharmed.

So what can we really do? Security tinting? Bags under the seat? Be super cautious with eyes wide opened? Or?
